Rodrigo Cortés, dopo Buried, scrive e dirige il thriller psicologico indipendente Red Lights, interpretato da Sigourney Weaver e Robert De Niro. Una psicologa (Weaver) viene spinta dal suo assistente che studia le attività paranormali a investigare su uno psichico (De Niro) rinomato in tutto il mondo. I due devono smascherare lo psichico che è tornato alla ribalta dopo tre decenni. Le riprese del film si svolgeranno per sette settimane in Spagna e per due settimane in Canada.
